In the dairy and canning industry, water content is a key parameter for the quality, texture, taste, and cost control of products such as butter, stretched-curd cheese, ricotta, yogurt, and cream.
Berthold Italia Srl develops in-line measurement solutions based on multi-frequency microwave technology (dual attenuation-phase shift measurement), designed to ensure continuous, real-time monitoring directly in the main production flow.
Measurement occurs on the entire volume of product passing through the pipeline, ensuring truly representative data of the process, even in the presence of uneven water distribution. Performance is unaffected by color, viscosity, or surface characteristics, and the product remains intact.
The system complies with major industry standards (FDA, EHEDG, 3-A, MOCA) and is available for various installation configurations.
